Not a fantastic match overall but entertaining last 20 minutes.
France just decent TBH but god haven’t NZ regressed over the last number of years. They look bang average and Italy will give them a game. Ireland or SA will ate them raw

SA hammered them at Twickenham a couple of weeks ago, the air of invincibility has gone...

Yea
Teams are not afraid of them anymore. right now, there’s at least 3 or 4 teams that quite simply have better players.

Their history and love for the sport means they can never be written off but they look out of sorts ATM
Too early to write them off completely, everyone did that with Argentina after 1 game and look what happened there !

Like an England win ?

I genuinely think the Northern Hemisphere teams have stolen a march over the last few years.
Some great games over the weekend which could go either way

Aus v Georgia
I think the Georgians will keep it to less than 10

Eng v Arg
England to win by +5

Wales v Fiji
Draw

SA v Jocks
Can’t call. Maybe SA by less than 5

Think the Fijians could well cause a shock, but think the Boks will be too strong upfront

Great start for the Northern Hemisphere. Nothing to fear, stay positive Northern Hemisphere teams.

The second best S.H. team were wiped.

I'm wondering whether talented Fijiian and Samoan players that would once have been poached by the All Blacks, are now staying at home and playing for their national team.

Handy start from the French. Irish as expected.

Having to decide between watching Georgia potentially beat Australia and the England football match. The studio being used by ITV for the rugby, some sort of faux Parisian rooftop scene, hysterically bad and zero excitement in the panel. The pitch side discussion on C4 for the football epically weak.

Think I’ll stick with the rugby.
