I think it'll make a lot of the old guard happy, but I'm maybe in the minority of thinking it looks a little twee, compared to the arguably more professional looking coat of arms.

I'm more excited by the kit itself - 17/18 was very nice, so this years' has a lot to live up to.

I personally like both, but to me, its got to be the Crest, as i find it more classy and more Bristol!

Do you know I was going to say, " I'm not worried either way" but then I remembered I have a Robin on my sideboard playing a starring role in my front room, if I'm having a bit of a party there it is right by my CD player, sparkling in the light,(my daughter gave it to me a few years ago as a Christmas present from a craft market in Bath), I brag about it,show it off and feel so smug and proud of this 4" metal, inanimate article.

My conscience is now telling me to want the Robin, especially as I have my own sitting there looking at me.

It looks a little dorky to me so I’ll go for the more classic crest.

    Robin.

Bristol City are a West Country team playing in the City of Bristol with support from outside of Bristol.

Greatest player John Atyeo a West Countryman but non Bristolian.

Not from Bristol. Robin. Now live in Bristol. Like the Council badge even less.
