Where are you getting the info. I'm using google, legal websites etc. and i can't find any case info, only the well published allegations.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-2010676/Innocent-Perhaps-But-Id-want-clean-Dominique-Strauss-Kahns-bedroom.html read it. a few paragraphs down its says they did have sex but question's whether it was consensual or not
I think I remember hearing it on the radio that they could prove sexual contact but not rape. Of course I was drunk and I may have imagined it.
Did you read any of my links, the original releases were redacted to prevent the release of names. when the guardian journalist released the key for the files then every intelligence agency had access to the unredacted files. Wikileaks had to then release them all unredacted to protect anyone mentioned from those intelligence agencies
hmmm NewsWeek first reported on the murder. They report that the Taliban believes the documents showed it U.S. sources, including the murder victim, Abdullah -- whether or not they truly do. If they did leak info to the US is this not treason? also a warning was given to the 'collaborators' giving them a choice The note reads: We have made a decision for your death. You have five days to leave Afghan soil. If you don’t, you don’t have the right to complain. The US on the other hand: U.S. Congressman Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) has called on the U.S. Military to pursue the death penalty in the Manning case. He says Manning's actions constitute treason in a time of war and thus should be punishable by death.
I dd'nt say it was treason that was of concern, merely that people's lives have been put in danger because of Wikileaks. Assange does'nt seem to care too much who he outed.
You will find that this is due to the redacted release cables. They fail to show us which cable release named the einformant also. I smell bull. However, if true, it is also a sad relection on the US administration who dont seem to care too much either as Wikileaks requested their help in redacting the cables to minimise any danger, they refused. The US cannot cry about released information when they were presented the oppportunity to help redact the information released
It was probably because the cables were confidential, for the US to be seen to be co-operating with Assange would to some people signal that they are somehow in cahoots.
