Thats sad. He was Lucian in the Liver Birds with his rabbits too. Also Palin’s brother in law in the magnificent GBH. I think he did a few Bleasdales?
Wasn't he in Boys from the Blackstuff?

Aw crap! I always got on brilliantly with him. I would always have a chat with him when it wasn't busy.Sadly reading on twitter about the death of someone a good few of us would of met personally......
Gerry the landlord of the ‘Crowne and Sceptre’, the meeting point for many of us, has sadly died.
Always friendly and good for a laugh on match days
RIP mate

Ricky Valance best known for his No. 1 "Tell Laura I love her" has passed away aged 84. Born David Spencer in Monmouthshire he became the first Welshman to have a solo No. 1 hit. The BBC also banned the song for a while branding it "tasteless" as the subject was death. RIP.

Just heard that my old pal Bill Lavers has passed away. Bill had supported QPR since the 50s and had a season ticket for many years. Here's a photo taken in a hospitality box in the 90s with Danny Maddix. Bill is on the far right of the picture (I'm third from the left). RIP Sir Bill.
