Reactions: QPR Oslo
Davey Lambert and Jochem van den Hoek both killed in separate crashes in the Isle of Man TT races. As someone who has been into motorbikes since a teenager I can only envy the 'madness' and guts of these racers who ride on the 'jagged egde' at the TT's. On everyday roads they have no margin for error as has sadly been proved again. RIP...

Money I should imagine, the two weeks of the TT's generate massive income on the island. There's also road racing in Northern Ireland with the Ulster 200 grand prix. Riders know the dangers but the adrenalin kick is irresistable and the crowds the races draw are massive.

Just read that a third rider, Alan Bonner, was killed today in the qualifier for Sunday's Senior TT. RIP...

Adam West, the US actor best known as the star of the 1960s hit TV series Batman, has died aged 88.

West died peacefully in Los Angeles after a brief battle with leukaemia, a family spokesperson said.

His tongue-in-cheek portrayal of Batman and the superhero's alter ego Bruce Wayne won a cult following.

However, West later struggled to find acting work. He most recently played a character in the animated comedy Family Guy.

West was born in 1928 in Walla Walla, Washington state, and began his acting career in Hawaii in the 1950s.

He is survived by his wife, Marcelle, six children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren

Errol Christie the boxer has passed at the young age of 53 of lung cancer.

RIP

One of Britain's greatest amateur boxers, his record of 10 ABA titles will never be equalled in an era when average amateurs turn pro before they've learnt their trade. Was unfortunate to be around in the greatest middleweight era we have seen and after losing to Michael Watson he never fulfilled his great early promise. Sadly gone far too young, RIP...
