RIP Swiss photographer Sabine Weiss, 97. She took fashion and celebrity photos, but many more capturing street life all over the place, Portugal, New York and especially Paris in the 50s. Incredibly evocative.

Such a shame she didn't make the 100, I was reading about her the day before she passed away, People magazine already issued 'Betty at 100'...

No criminal charges were brought against the construction company involved which apparently failed to disclose previous failings to local authorities. Pity the American Courts didn’t have the same zeal to pursue a (an American) company for killing half a dozen people as they seem to have in pursuing Maxwell and Randy Andy for what surely must be lesser crimes/allegations.
