cost = 32 million i believe, but local economy boost and merchandising sales = 700million

Profit = **** loads and money used from your ( pay mine in france) taxes = zero


wasnt interested in the wedding myself, but all this "how much of my tax money is being spent" is utter crap.

Rubbish!! How much of that supposed £700 M is spent by british people who would have spent it on something else anyway. The only profit would have to come from foreign tourist money. Quite a bit I admit but not enough to offset the outlay
 
On a serious not. I enjoyed it. Love them or hate them is not the point, the tradition and style we Brits do things is.

Especially when you get an invite & actually go to the wedding, enjoyed the atmosphere on Thursday night, had a walk amongst the crowds outside the Abbey, then the service itself, did'nt go to the night bash, stayed at the hotel for the night (cream crackered after a long day) for those who thought Pippa was a bonny one, you should have been there and saw her, just got back about an hour ago, me missus & I enjoyed the whole event. It might have looked good on telly, great being a part of it
