Came across Ticketmasters' new Dynamic Pricing yesterday....Mrs Steels was looking at Bruce Springsteen tickets and for standard standing tickets they were charging £500 - WTF! A look around the website, some seats were getting close to a grand. This wasn't just for here either, had a look at his Villa Park gig prices, similar. It's terrible. Apparently Ticketmaster can change the pricing of some high-demand artists, alledgedly to "scare off" touts - it's a disgrace. We bought tickets recently for Paolo Nutini, I had pre-sale as I'd bought the new album. Our friend went to buy them and the only tickets she could've got were the platinum hotel package at five times the price we paid - Ticketmaster are ****s!

Just got two tickets on presale for billy Joel from ticketmaster
1900 ****ing dollars
Still have to get to Auckland
Three nights in a hotel Is almost 900 bucks
Apparently we get canapes and booze before hand
Gonna smash that ****

That’s ****ing crazy. Rip-off merchants. I was only saying to the other half I’d like to experience Bruce live, can’t say I’m a die-hard fan but I’ve heard so much about his live gigs I wanted to give it a go, and it felt like he would be putting in a tour next year. But £450-500 a ticket is just a total rip-off of fans and music lovers. Sorry, but that is completely beyond sensible. I’ll give it a miss if that’s what’s on offer. There’s a LOT of good gigs in £45-500!

There's a lot of good gigs in the £20-30 range too. And in much better venues than the huge arenas. The Paolo tickets were a touch pricey at £70, but there's no way I'd be paying much more than that for anyone.

Mrs has seen Springsteen two or three times, says he's phenomenal....but not £500 phenomenal

Just under a grand for two tickets
Most we have ever spent on tickets

I've just bought four tickets for a three day festival next year for a touch over £500 - including camping....you'd probably be cheaper flying over here and joining me than going to see Billy Joel

(Apologies in advance)
How does that compare to what you usually pay for a blowjob Ubes?

(I really am very sorry about that)

Depends on the quality of the hooker....you can get one for a fiver off some skanky junkie with no teeth round the back of most Wetherspoons, whereas a classy one will reel you in and have you hooked for life, move in with you, then **** off in five years with half your worldly possessions...

Any Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul fans?

The new season of Better Call Saul - wow, un-****ing-believable. Script just keeps getting better and better, it's on a level with the best Breaking Bad had to offer. The scrapes Saul, Gus Fring and Mike get into just keep dragging you in - brilliant TV.
