They didn't like the feed the scousers chant ;).

I'm sure Theo was too busy waving at the crowd that day.

You had to feel sorry for Theo that day(at least it was pantomime season), we were getting bigger crowds that season than we're managing now, there were 20,064 at the Tranmere game.

I had a mate who was a director at Tranmere at the time and he invited me to watch from the directors seats as they exacted revenge at their place. We beat them 3-1 and in the members bar after the game I had a few too many and told Jason McAteer that he should jack it in as he was past it. <laugh>

Alternatively we could change it and have a choreographed gospel choir with a backing track. <doh>

All hail the former reverend Allen Bagshawe.
You know summat's badly wrong with the moral compass at the club, when a retired old minister and man of the cloth feels the need to speak out.

Reminiscent of Sir Thomas More in 'A Man for all Seasons' as he stood up to Henry VIII.

In measured ecclesiastical tones obviously, summat along the lines of 'This is an utter bag of ****e and targets OAPs such as me. I want nowt to do with it.Oh, and we should have signed Andre Gray"
