I'd rather get Angelo Ogbonna as CB/LB cover to be honest.

We would have tried in August if we wanted him.

Also did u not witness the reception he got when he came on for Spurs against us?!!

No chance in hell is he coming back.

We only need cover, I'd be happy enough with Ridgewell. Another Englishman as well, and much better at LB than Bassong.

I'm not a fan of players returning when they've already left (Beardsley, Clark and Nobby aside)

This or a ''Carr unknown gem mark 1,000''. <laugh>

Knowing us we'll probably get some cheap French versatile defender from the Ligue 2. <laugh>

I'd rather we sign another Bassong than actually sign Bassong

No, because he wants to leave Spurs through lack of games so why would he come here to be cover?

No thankyou. He left us when the chips were down, he has shown his true colours. Would rather find another French bargain.

Let him go to QPR - there's better, cheaper options out there than to retread back into the dark days with Bassong, even though he was one of our best performers in our relegation season.

What was wrong with Bassong's attitude while he was here? Yes, he left, but who could blame him. He had just had a great first season in the PL and a Champions club was interested that could probably triple his wages. He had no reason to be emotionally attached to the club, and the club needed money so his sale helped both parties. He was just a young player hoping to better his career, give him a break!

(unless he did something during his time as an NUFC player to display a poor attitude - and I can't remember anything of the sort. If he did though I apologise and you xcan ignore the above text)

All irrelavant though, he wont come here to be cover on lower wages than he is on at Spurs.
