Looks like Mrs May´s really gone and ****ed this up after a half decent start. It looks like it´ll mean a lot more wrangling and faffing around before the big pull out of Europe, which will also mean a lot more of the aforementioned on a bigger scale. It really just means more uncertainty and unstability. Not what any country really needs. She couldn´t just have her cake and eat it, she wanted the whole fing buffet. Greedy cow might get what she deserves. <steam><steam><steam>

I hope one party wins, a hung parliment just screws things up even further.

The question on everyone´s lips - "Is Teresa May Walter Mazzarri in disguise?" :emoticon-0112-wonde

Surely the odds on such sexual things and even to a woman must be staggeringly high. Betting companies now days will put odds to anything.

On a more sensibly note, what is May doing wearing red?

She's worn red quite a lot, oddly enough. It struck me as quite bizarre.

High all. Just got up to largely good news.

My only negative is with a hung Westminister the Brexit negotiations will need some people to put party politics aside if it is going to be actually negotiated in any sensible way.

Scotland I think is fascinating and there could still be surprises to come from there.

Don't want to be sexiest and tongue in cheek, but a terrible night for the two ladies and a great night for the two guys <laugh>

But hope the all night sitters are enjoying it and yes NZ we are envious <cheers>

Over the moon Vince Cable is back. The more sensible people like him, no matter what affiliation, the better in my view.

Thinking of previous topics we have discussed here the one group who will be happy are the bookies :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Guess that depends on the DUP. Possibly not a bad thing as NI carries a huge burden with that border.

But how an election and a negotiation can co-inside I'm not too sure. Imagine with two months to go, after 18 months of hard negotiation, the Brexit deal almost signed, and in comes a Labour Government. The only option would be a hard Brexit.

ps: One thing I think is never made clear is that while these elections may be disruptive they cost very little in real terms. They simply stimulate the economy.

But I'm going to get a few hours kip. Cheers one and all <cheers>

This result is the one they forecast in 2015. The exit poll proved to be accurate, not worth staying up really.

Like football, politics is obviously a results business so the PM must take full responsibility for the gamble she made. The social care proposals and means tested benefits for the oldies clearly did damage to the Tories. The promise to ditch uni fees galvanised the young to finally turn up at the polls.

They should immediately raise the voting age to 60. :1980_boogie_down:

Looking at the positives we have lost the annoying Salmond and the young finally have their revenge on Clegg.

Scottish independence looks off the table for a long time, parliament will be quieter due to the loss of Salmond and Robertson. It is pity the whining Stephen Gethins was elected by a couple of votes.
