What a finish for the first goal. Not sure who it was but a great volley from outside the box. Ibe proving a couple of assists and taking in his man well. Looks like he's got a better build to cope with league football more so than Sterling.
read the report on this one. so rossiter played as a 16 year old BUT what i need to know is how did the defenders do? kelly ilori, young jones and smith. was there anything for those goals that kelly and ilori need looking at for? ibe again hasn't had a sniff in this system we are playing so he needs games the issue here is advancement. Teixteria had not got a good loan so what do we do with him now. Lots of talent but is it enough. Ibe needs games, too good for this level Kelly needs to show some fitness soon. Ilori needs to go on loan it seems. Mclaughlin is being blocked by kellys search for fitness Rodden is well established at this level Rossiter is so young but quite able at this level. Really thats an awful lot of players to bring through so what do we do next? who's the guy to put on the bench to give us another little push to the top 4 this year if any? next year the above will be competing with suso who will come back as a seasoned player with the required games under the belt to say he's a first team player or transfer.
This might surprise some people but I'm not sure if I can see a future for Kelly at the club. He's not an attacking full back, never has been - has the ability to run powerfully but he can't dribble nor attack. The sooner we can shift him to central defence, the better. Ibe, Ilori and Teixira are far too good for this level - they need proper competitive football.

The U18's drew 3-3 (seems to be the theme at academy level for us), we went 2-0 down but Kent and Sinclair both scored in the second half to level things, then Wilson put us in the lead continuing his good recent form. Unfortunately they scored a free-kick late on and it ended 3-3. Still, good to see them three players continuing their goal scoring form, Sinclair is starting to bang them in regularly again.
I agree with this. all three are trapped at the moment. they can train but can get a tougher game so won't develop. this is a perennial issue.... i actually worry baout kelly. he's not so far showed anything to merit even a run out at the senior level much less be even trusted to be fit enough to do so and how long will it be left go?

Very well mate. Yesil and N'goo up top together and they've been linking up brilliantly - the former could of easily had a hattrick. Tex bossing it as per usual, more goals in this for us.
