Liverpool reserves have a game behind closed doors today against Huddersfield starting at 12pm. Lineup should be a good indication of who might be involved on thursday and who may not......From Susos twitter i think he is playing but dont have a full line up yet......Any information people may have on the lineup would be greatly appreciated.

No, there are some on the B list that are no where near Suso's quality. Rodgers praised Suso in the friendly games and the only reason I can think of is that he is giving him a rest because he played in all of Spains games at the U19s up to the final. Would make sense as you wouldn't want to rest players in the friendlies and then 'try them out' in a competitive game. He hasn't had a proper rest yet and Rodgers is quite considerate when it comes to the fitness of the youngsters. Lets not worry about this. .

Afternoon lads i have a few questions about some of your youth team i have been trying to keep my eye on for a while (if thats ok?).... Suso and Conor Coady? where do you think they will make it this season or (here is why i posted it here) will they go on loan??? I know liverpool rate both but will they make the step this season or go on loan or just stay in the acadamy again??? Cheers
We thought Suso would be making the step up already and he has shown he has the ability to, however the past two days we've seen some suspect decisions come and it looks like he MAY be going back to the reserves or academy. Coady has been solid but he has a while to go with the technical aspect of his game, it remains to be seen if he's going to continue his development at the club or on loan.
