I am feeling ok at the mo. after the extraction on Weds... salt rinses etc.... When I had the tooth originally taken out three years ago.. it took over an hour and it broke... and then I got this dry socket infection.... dire pain for a week..... the problem is that they never go the whole tooth out so it all became infected again last week... three years later... they finally got the rest out on Weds... I am just hoping it doesn't get infected again.

Hope yours is ok.... at least simpler than mine if it has to go.. <ok>

I once had titanium pins put into 2 stumps of teeth in the hope of having the rest repaired
after doing all that work the dentist told me how much I should expect to pay(I know..ishould have asked)
years later had the pins and the rest of the teeth out
13 injections later and I could still feel the drill
in the end he got a foot long bar out and basically crowbared the teeth out
the noise of breaking teeth is not a nice sound

not that I wish to put anyone off going to the dentist
