We came out with a bit of fight the 2nd half. With the exception of Amrabat the 1st half was pretty insipid.

I'd like to think the manager stuck a rocket up their arse.

 

I thought Joffy and Slater were pretty good first half too but fair enough.

 

Maybe so. But I thought the 1st half was way below what I'd expect given what's at stake.

 

I thought the goal we conceded was poor but we actually created more in the first half than the second so I do think sometimes the goals scored/conceded play a part in people's perceptions. I think the crowd was much more up for it in the second half which helped too. Need the crowd roaring like that from the start.

 

Walsh pulled Crooks style red, saved us.
