OXFORD HAVE GOT SUNDERLAND HOME / SWANSEA AWAY = 1 point
PRESTON HAVE GOT PLYMOUTH HOME/ BRISTOL CITY AWAY = 1 point
LUTON HAVE GOT COVENTRY HOME / WEST BROM AWAY = 4 points
CARDIFF HAVE GOT WEST BROM HOME/ NORWICH AWAY = 4 points
PLYMOUTH HAVE GOT PRESTON AWAY/ LEEDS HOME = 2 points
DERBY HAVE GOT CITY AWAY/ STOKE HOME = 3 points

I said on the other thread, I knew powder puff West Brom would be laid on the beach now and surrender. Thats why we have to get it done next week. I've put what I think will happen points wise. Copy and paste it share your views..?

It sounds bonkers, but I wonder if Luton losing the 1230 game next week would be a bad result for us. We need to beat Derby whatever as I can’t see us getting anything away to Pompey on the last day. If Luton lose next week, will it encourage us to play defensively for the draw, and then get undone by Derby going hells bells for the win? Whereas if Luton win or draw, we know we have to go for it. Which I think we need to do anyway.

Interestingly - if Sheff Utd beat Stoke next week regardless of what happens to us against Derby - a win against Pompey would keep us safe as Stoke play Derby on the last day and both can't get three points.

So could do with Sheff Utd having something to play for next week...

Mowbray has just been sacked by WBA and they’ve got both Cardiff and Luton to play. Be interesting to see how the players react

Apparently he’d lost the dressing room so you have to hope so

If he had then we'll probably see a bounce.

If Luton lose any of their remaining games we’d only need a point to match theirs, Cardiff’s and Plymouth’s maximum points and most likely stay up.

Or we can just beat Derby.

Coventry play Boro on the last day so you'd hope they'd be going all out for the win to secure play offs before then.

Hopefully. If they beat Luton and Middlesbrough and Millwall fail to win they’ll guarantee sixth. You’d imagine they’ll be going for it.

Luton are on a roll and Coventry are wobbling - I can see Luton winning that

I'm quite glad Luton are playing early. The woman behind me keeping up with the other scores just added to my stress levels this afternoon.

**** SAKE LUTON ARE WINNING. EVERYONE IS APART FROM US

Yeah it does my head in too. I get that it's relevant but I don't get watching it that closely when we're playing. I just want to focus on us. If it was last day of the season I could understand it.

I know what you mean, but I’d take Luton losing before we play every day of the week

I tend to agree. It's the equivalent of conceding an early goal and knowing we have to go all out and that producing a better performance.
