Don't see how attendance should affect what league you play in. It's all about how good your side is, doesn't matter if you play good football or bad football as long as you play to your strengths and do everything to stay in the league. All of the clubs in the PL are there on merit.

I don't think their fans are a good enough reason to want to see a team relegated. I know a few Wigan fans who've been watching them for years and they have got a really good, albeit quite small following. Most people in Wigan couldn't give a flying **** about football, and care more about Rugby League.

My reason for wanting them to get relegated is that they're perpetual relegation candidates, and with the exception of a few seasons, they've been consistently finishing in the bottom 6/7. I think someone else should get a go at the top flight!

Agree with that but it would be much better to see full stadiums and passionate support when visiting away grounds and such.

Blackburn, Bolton & Wigan were my bottom 3 when I did the predictor.

Hughes will spend money this january with his QPR side and will probably just about keep them up, unfortunately Mick McCarthy will probably manage to keep Wolves up too.

I'd rather Wigan stay up than Wolves, solely for the fact that I like Martinez.

Why did the other poll thread get closed?! It wasn't off topic.

Martinez is a strange one for me, he's a decent manager and clearly a nice guy, but the pundits make him out to be on par with Mourinho and Ferguson. Yeah, he did a decent job with Swansea to get them into the Championship, but he hasn't really done much with Wigan apart from escape relegation on the last day of the season.

You're right, he doesn't, and there are managers who would do a lot worse in his situation, but he is quite over rated I think.

Anyway, the idea of the poll was to take any of the three teams from 15-20 and put their number in the three relegation positions from 18th to 20th. Didn't quite get it right, sorry.

    Been a long day.

Hope QPR go down. Can't stand their entire team. Warnock was a self-absorbed whinging cock, Hughes is a self-absorbed greedy cock, Taraabt is a self-absorbed pathetic cock, Barton is a self-absorbed pretentious cock, Tony Fernandes is...

    And it goes on.

I believe it will be Wigan, Bolton and Blackburn. A shocker for the Lancashire clubs. I just think the others have a bit more. The one rider being if QPR don't buy a goalscorer this window, they will be relegated. I have no preference in terms of who's relegated because after we experienced it, I don't wish it on anyone. Well except Villa just for those fans who enjoyed ours so much.

Wigan do quite well to pull in just under 20,000 when you think about how saturated with clubs the north west is, most of them from towns. You've got the huge pull of Man Utd, Liverpool and Man City just down the road, which must suck in thousands of floating/casual supporters, and then in the PL alone there's Blackburn, Wigan and Bolton, along with Burnley, Preston and Blackpool in the championship, all of which get around 10,000-15,000 at each game.

Teams like Blackburn have remarkably good support taking into account all the other teams around them and the fact that it's a town, not a city. We get 50,000, but there's only really us, the mackems, Boro and Hartlepool in the league. Then again, there aren't as many settlements/centres of population in the North East as in the North West.

if QPR, Swansea & Norwich all manage to stay up, will it be the first time ever all 3 promoted teams have avoided relegation???? think there is a real chance of that this year
