if I were the ref two of suarez goals wouldn't have been given that's for sure but then again im more old skool when it comes 2 cheating than the refs today.
Why didn't City players get close onto Gerrard to coax a 2nd yellow after he was walking a tightrope after his trip on John? Another question. Why wasn't one of the 8 city outfield players on the line for Skertel's 2nd? Another question. How bad were Cala and Caulker? Overall another game gone by when not expecting anything but good to see City give it a go; just a little more rub of the green and better defending then maybe City would have snared 2 vital points in their last 2 games.
Agreed on Cala. It was much more evident on MoTD although Suarez gave him hell of a nudge in the back for his 3rd. Young Declan had a torrid time too with 3 goals coming through his defensive area. Might we have been stronger in that area with Turner in the left cb role? As for someone on the line/far post, I think the main aim was to mark as many as they could and Liverpool piled everyone up knowing we only had 8 available markers. It shows how much of an as some of the laws are though. 2 of our guys get injured and we are down to 9 defending a corner. That just cannot be right as it gave Liverpool a very unfair advantage.
He's not from the same county - which is how it works - and the last three games he refereed us [all at home] - we lost!! We had Lee Mason [from Manchester] when we played man city at their place - now there was something to complain about.
lets be honest guys.......defences look poor because there isn't a structure 2 the offside ruling.....its a grey area and its been over complicated and it shows across the football world tbh.......and clever/quick 2cheat players like suarez take full advantage of this grey zone leaving defenders look stupid in the process......................................I for one would hate 2 b a defender since the rule change
