My opinion exactly. Why is it people struggle so greatly with the concept of net spend and actually not basing their love of the club on the last game? Most of us wanted Aguero, but in the end we just couldn't compete for that kind of player. This is not blind optimism, just trying to be realistic. Like you said we've remodeled the entire squad and there's still nobody you are thinking cannot be part of a quality squad. We WILL get better as the season goes on, of that i have no doubt. 1 or 2 quality additions in January wouldn't go amiss, and who knows? These next couple of tough games could really change the outlook of fickle fans.
