Sorry to hear that mate. Stay strong for him and try to be there with him as much as you can. He's still your Granddad so enjoy your moments together
That's normal mate. You're allowed to feel crap about it. Just try and enjoy your time when you are with him
I will, A word of advice to you and anyone that’s reading this, If you have a Grandfather, Talk to him, Because you never know what will happen around the corner.
I lost my Granddad back in 1994 mate. I still miss him now and I cherish the time that I spent with him. Make sure you make the most of the time you've got with yours mate.
Burnley Hurley is right Math . Lost my Dad to cancer in April this year , he was 92 . He was diagnosed about 6byears earlier , many years before that he lost a kidney to cancer , it sounds scary , and it is . They can do amazing things these days .
All the best to your Grandad, Matth. Hope he beats the bastard. It’s about time this filthy disease was kicked into touch
Good luck to your grandpops Matth. Lost my dad to cancer 9 years ago. Hope your grandad pulls through. There is every chance he will live longer than a year. If they say a year and he lives for 3, the Doctors look like heroes, they quite often short sell you when giving estimates.
It's a dreadful disease ... Got a text yesterday from my cousin's husband. Him and the family around her bedside in the hospice where she is now heavily sedated. She has inoperable cancer of the Oesophagus and the doctors said yesterday that it is now a matter if hours rather than days. We found out in January just as she became a Grandmother for the first time. She is 3 weeks younger than me ... 58. Heart breaking. My sympathy with you Matthew.
Hell!! Same age as me. That's awful. I know how fortunate I've been in my prognosis. Just need the medic's to keep their word and get me through it
Just had a text ... died peacefully in her husband's arms this morning ... "as she wanted it" ... need to go out for a while now .. . can't stop filling up.
Sincere best wishes Burly ... sounds like your doctors are on the case and it's all about catching it
