The Reams Thread

I still reckon the Welshman should let me, van Gerwen and Donald run riot for a week on ITTApologist.

I'd take 5 days annual leave if he does.

He keeps banning me <laugh>

Looking thru some of his recent bouts of Walter Mitty behaviour, he has also lost 2 of his 6 long term posters on ITTV - wiggysbottom and.Cassandra / Gelan / Kelly Maloney

Why did wiggy abandon ship?

My memory is a bit vague on this, but I think one member posted something which offended another member so much that they left the forum, and did not return.
The person who had posted the message that caused the offence was mortified, and swore they had never intended to cause the offence. They asked other members if anybody could contact the person who had left and ask them to come back, but to no avail.
Then the one who had posted the accidentally offensive remark felt too bad about it to continue on the forum themselves.

I can't recall whether Wiggy was the member who posted the accidentally offensive remark, or whether he was he one who took offence at it.
(I think he was the one who posted the remark). I don't remember what it was, but I recall thinking at the time that it was not the worst thing ever.
Just something a bit silly which another member really took to heart and took great offence at.

It's a shame but such misunderstandings can happen on forums, and probably do happen quite a lot.

Upon reflection I think most of us can tell (even after taking offence at something) whether an apparently offensive remark really was spiteful and meant to hurt, or if it was just a mistake / silly blunder / misunderstanding.

Why has Gelan quit ITTV in a huff ?

Has someone stolen his breast implants ?

If I recall correctly, Reams warned him about multiple accounts (amongst other things) in a pretty harsh public post - after Gelan had given a public reply to a PM warning Reams had sent him.

Major/Nigel W. would be mortified if his/their posts did not give offence.
