You have got to admit it guys...3 wins in 20 games IS both relegation form and sacking form. Worrying times ahead.

probably based on the assumption we had the ball for longer, but disregarding the fact that teams sit back and strike when we mesmerise our selves with possession!

as for Charlton they suffered our fate man off and you lose

    Football is all about confidence.
We were full of it last season and I was hoping it would carry us through this season with a few key signings.
Alas the signings didn't happen and this is proving beyond doubt SC/The Board got it massively wrong.
We didn't need the start we had in August.
Williams and Fielding at Sheffield and Freeman against Brentford.
It's been downhill since but for the odd glimmer against Boro, Forest and Wolves.

I still think SC is our best bet to get us out of trouble - I can't think of a better man out there who is available.
January can't come soon enough, I'm afraid that's about as much hope as I can currently muster.

Despite many believing by my posts that I want him gone, nothing could be further from the truth but if he doesn't get the backing from the boardroom on all fronts he's up the creek without a paddle. The fact that our history proves that we are lacking in all aspects when it comes to giving our managers the help they need to achieve the club's goals leaves me thinking that nothing will change. I fear for SC over the next few weeks.

I've got to say that 3-4 weeks ago, I thought we were beginning to find our feet in this division but come Rotherham, we were beaten by a team who played better, and by that I mean more incisive football than us. They wanted it and they were clinical and took their chances when they came, something we are most definitely not.

Fact is that this year, we often don't look like we are going to score. Last season, was different as we were able to probe and find gaps against teams but even then, there was no direct football i.e. winger goes down the line and crosses to the striker or through ball to striker running on. Bennett has given us a bit more success with that but it is too little and too far between.

It is pointless keeping the ball for long periods of time if you do little to hurt the opposition with it. This should be the focus now, we need players with a football brain in midfield. This was supposed to be Freeman's role but it is not happening and Pack, Smith and Ayling offer little in the incisive division going forward and on that front, I am disappointed that Korey Smith is not being allowed to unleash what he showed he CAN do in the Cheltenham game last season. He could be our surprise weapon...

Bottom line is that we have to play more attacking football as circling around the goal for ages offering little is a sure fire recipe for relegation so SC, please have a re-think and soon..!

I'd rather play attacking and exciting football than boring and nervy defensive play of long balls and resisting attack after attack.

I thought someone would come up with that one. Incisive football absolutely does not mean route one. It just means football with speed and threat

The matches at the beginning of the season were more enjoyable to watch. It has become like Mcinnes, goals sacrificed for defense. Didn't end well.....
