Chelsea should win it, they are the only all round team in the league this season. Man City or Arsenal second and the other third, I'd have said Arsenal last week but they had a couple of bad results including Man City Liveroool, Man U and Spurs to fight it out for 4th-6th which is a good result for each club anyway
I'll predict that Leicester City will remain Champions until May ... done. (then, like most champions before them, they will hand the trophy and title over to the next very worthy winners)
Spurs had a shaky start to the season, playing good football but struggling for goals. They also missed Alderwereild. But they have the steel in that side which Arsenal, Liverpool and City all clearly lack. If they can keep Kane and Erikson fit and in form, then at this point they are my tip for 2nd.
... I think you have a point ... but i also think that the other 3 all have more spending power than the Spuds and will likely strengthen to better effect in January ... plus Mustaafi and Kosceilny do look the best centre-back pairing that the Goons have had for some time, so if they are back and fit I can see Arsenal having their normal Spring surge ... whilst it does slightly pain me to say it ... United's £500 million spend is also starting to come together ...
Out of interest, where does the £500m figure come from? Did you read one of Deidre's posts and assume he knew what he was talking about?
I don't doubt Arsenal will finish strong. And as always, a Wenger team in full flight will be a joy to watch. All depends how much, if any, damage they do to themselves between now and the end of January. You might be right about Utd, foolish to write them off. They look a bit imbalanced from what I've seen though. Bit much to expect three marquee signings to carry an inconsistent side over the line week after week.
I see. £250m over two years. If you want to use net spend, which some people love, it's £170m over two years. £500m seems like a lot of poetic license to make you feel better about being the worst defending champions in Premier League history.
We're a centre half away from being a good team. Unfortunately we've dropped too many silly points because Mourinho had a very muddled mind up until recently. Some of his team selections have been comically ****.
Nice try John Boy but I'm not falling for your ****, mate. Chelsea will win it, that I agree with. Liverpool will be in the top 4. Probably 3rd behind City. That leaves Arsenal, Man Utd and Spurs fighting for 4th. Has to be Arsenal as they always get CL and I don't see this season being any different. The current champions? 19th for me.
