what exactly you predicted?? feel free to quote. I predict 5th or 6th for you end of season. What is your prediction? Do you have the guts even to make a predo FFS??
Based on last season, I certainly believe we are good enough for top 4. To predict 6th - which is what you have done - is taking the piss, and you know it. We're a better team than Chelsea, that's for sure. United look shot, £ity have imploded, and Arsenal are same-old-same-old. Only 'Pool seem to have substantially improved imho. If it follows the form-book, top three should consist of any combination of Chelsea, 'Pool and Spurs, £ity and Arsenal fighting it out for 4th and 5th. That said, if I had to put money on it, I'd say that Spurs will finish no lower than 4th (ie. I'd spread my bets).
@gooner4ever Not based on one game. Based on last season and the first half of this season. We've lost fewer games than Chelsea and we remain unbeaten at home. Plus, we gave them a footballing lesson in how to defend a lead. We were superb last night. Anyone who doubts that Spurs are this season's stalking horse had better be warned.
To be fair, I haven't really done much watching, Chief. Mainly, I've been reading Metro and listening to Adrian Durham on Talk Sport. However, I feel that I've got a good grip on what's been going on. No, son. I'm deadly serious. Have a look at the cartoons I've posted in my Bambi Picture thread. You'll piss your pants, Chief.
With that loss for Chelsea and Man U underachieving compared to how they are playing , the Red Devils are anything but shot . If some of the top teams start fumbling around (as they have been of late ) and Chelsea starts sh1tting the bed for a bit , United could very well sneak in for the title . Not probable but definitely possible haigster
Hiag getting a little over-excited I see... as he did after spuds beat city and look what happened after that. Don't forget mate your last loss was to that 'shot team' who as a result have a better run of form than you. I don't blame you HIAG, you're not the only one. There are a lot of ppl writing us off on here, which makes me smile. It will make the season even sweeter come the end.
He was the oldest youth on 70s TV. Quite bizarre, really. Mind you, I used to love Dick Emery, when I was a kid.
Last night's result only shows that it's not just a one horse race. Chelsea are beatable. Obviously, many other sides will have paid close attention to how we achieved that and will try to emulate. Conte is a smart guy, he'll know that and be working on how to combat it. End result? I still expect, all things being well, that Chelsea will be champions. But, it's no longer nailed on as it appeared a few days ago. They'll have to fight for it.
As any eventual champions of a league as competitive as the pl will need to do. That goes a long way in explaining the gunners barren spell, if we're being brutally honest
Yes, but equally, your dramatic spiral downwards this season demonstrates the true extent to which last season was a fluke. You cannot expect anyone to agree with your assertions unless you accept this fact, Johnny.
