Summer 2018 I reckon. We're building something here despite it being 2 steps forward, 1 step back. And we only sell players nearing the end of their contracts. It's Oriol Romeu I'm more concerned about right now.
He's come on a lot this season ... thought he was very good at ours ... although I thought Hojbjerg was actually even better on the day tbf - looked a real bargain ...
Hojbjerg still finding his feet this season. Romeu has flourished since Wanyama left. We keep finding these gems, then when they come good we are more or less forced to sell them on. A few academy lads coming good too this season; it's not a bad recipe. Leicester at yours was one of my rare away trips this season. A good game I thought, despite the 0-0. Didn't both sides hit the post? I know Charlie Austin did, from a tight angle.
You definitely hit a post ... our best chance was a wayward backpass that put Vardy in ...and which he probably would have notched last season ... was a n entertaining encounter ...
Credit to Southampton for keep rebuilding in such a great way, love the way you're club is run. Since living on the south coast I've watched them many times, and always a joy... But.. If you think van dyk will last next summer let alone January, you sir are deluded. Bottom line is city and Liverpool need a quality CB, he's currently the best in the Pl (along with Toby alder). Bids will come in you simply can't refuse mate.
... you included Liverpool which suggested some form of contest ... there isn't ... don't shoot the messenger ... there is no denying that you are now the third biggest club in the North West ... don't cry again please
Bambi's idea of humour is "If I say it enough times, it might become funny." No, Bambi, it won't, mate.
Southampton are an extremely likeable club I've always been really impressed with how you go about things, similar to ourselves but better as your academy lads always do really well. I'd rather support a time like yours or mine than one that can't produce players or find gems and resort to spending millions to take players away. Keep it up Southampton
Whereas yours' involves too many commas and really isn't funny anyway ... unless it iis an unintentional geographical fcuk up of course - gotta make an exception for that ... you had just about the whole forum laughing ...if it was for the first time.
Saints is a much better club than LCFC, all round. That's just my opinion, so please don't shoot me for it!
Where's that come from? I said as much in my last comment so you're arguing with yourself. Typical HAIG
... well that ain't you ..that's been well and truly established ... you live in a virtual world where you can be found continually spinning (and blubbing) between Las Angeles and Los Vegas ...
Hmm I wondered that. Southampton are an excellent club but I think they are on a par with us with picking up a bargain. The outlay for Mahrez, Vardy and Kante for the profit we have/could make and from what they have provided is second to none. Teams like Spurs can only dream of this. Southampton do have a better academy but I don't think there is a better academy in the country than Southampton. Other than that very similar clubs
Arsenal is a much better club than Spurs, all round. That's not just my opinion ... it's a fact - titles, league position, manager ... plus they don't seem to have the needy, nerdy, equivalent of Melty McMeltface on here
