Until I moved in 2023 I'd still see him walking through Bromley. He could still do 90 minutes, he did not have an ounce of fat on him.

I was not at the Valley today but a relative of mine was.
The person who has passed away was known to her, and was well known in that part of the ground I understand.
This is a terrible tragedy. I'm sure all the thoughts and sympathies of every Charlton fan are with him and his loved ones.
RIP, terribly sad. Described by many as a Charlton Legend.
We play at home on Wednesday night, and I'll be raising my glass to him in the pub beforehand.

At Exeter St Davids station last November I had the pleasure of talking to him for ten minutes. He came across as a placid, easy going gentleman, this has been said by people that were friends of him.
He passed at the place he loved.

Saw him live in ‘93 at Wembley Arena. Was surprisingly loud. As you say, a very talented performer. Fantastic voice and he played a mean guitar. Hopefully he’s working on it down on the beach, not on the road to hell. RIP
