    Ah yes but that's the Clyde Valley not Clydeside. Did you come in through Lanark or did you go in along the Crossford road. That road would be excellent to drive in a vintage MG.

    Off the M74 at Abington, Lanark, Crossford. Sadly the MG was on a trailer behind my Nissan Navara. Lovely countryside , must visit again soon. Hopefully Wee Nicola will be in charge.

    The Clyde Valley is beautiful. A garden centre every 20 yards. New Lanark is worth a visit.

    I love that Third Lanark park, where the terraces and old crash bars are still there, fading into the undergrowth and history.

    Not true, Bank of England notes aren't legal tender in Scotland. The only legal tender in Scotland are coins from the Royal Mint. You're welcome.
