So this looks genuinely on for City, anyone think they'll do it? Gotta fancy them to clean up domestically (though the title will go to the wire) but I personally think they'll fall short in the CL with Juve knocking them out.
No, even the dog ****ers beat them, so they are far from invincible. They'll probably still end up with no less than 2 though.
I really want City to do this. It will eclipse anything any team has ever done in World football. Bar none. Matth, Stan, Chief, and all the other Manc plastics will have to live with the fact that they will never achieve anything like that.
They’ll do the domestic treble and could win the CL. They’re a fantastic team. I made the effort to go and watch them play at St Mary’s as I’m a football fan and wanted to see them live.
I would drop you, you little twat, in an instance. Doubt it? Come to my next gig, and I will see you in the car park, yeah?
City winning the quadruple would make for some brilliant viewing on here in all honesty ... the meltdown potential is spectacular ... ... can they do it? ... 6 months ago I would have said it was impossible ... now? ... I think it is still very unlikely but they do seem to be able to grind out the results and also seem to be getting the rub of the green (the Aguero winner against Swansea) ...
I hope they don't. City were gifted the quarter final due to piss poor refereeing and an incompetent FA refusing to allow VAR. They have been the best team in the league but at an unprecedented cost which has been funded by cheating at FFP. The first time they were simply fined and were allowed to negotiate the find down and we are awaiting what ever comes as a punishment this time. I can't stand Liverpool (for my own absurd reasons) but why should they lose out to a club who is finsnvisllg cheating? The same applies to united last year. Clubs have been relegated and or docked points for not adhering to FFP in the Championship, A league One and League Two and in Scotland. Yet City have been allowed to get away with it. That said...I think that they'll will win the domestic treble but I think the CL could be beyond them.
