I think they are screwed. Cameron needed to win 25 seats more, he is likely to lose 25, and all in England because they don't have any seats anywhere else. They should be thankful for the SNP, without them Labour would have a majority. The knives will be out for Dave tomorrow, it's already noticeable how the potential Tory leadership candidates have shunned the limelight, not wishing to be associated with failure. Osborne only shown in a high visibility jacket in factories or building projects, Boris not leaving London, Theresa May disappeared.

What class are plebs if not working class?

I wonder if there will be a late twist in the polls. Had a couple of analysts from Goldman Sachs in the car today, their analysis of the last 24 hours is there has been a distinct swing to Labour and they reckon that will produce a near dead-heat in seats won, which will spell curtains for Cameron.

They seem to think a Lib/Lab agreement with a loose arrangement with the Nationalists will be the likely outcome. We'll see...

You'll get some exit polls and then a lot of theorizing from so called experts. The first interesting results come in about 2-3am from memory. Most of the excitement comes as the sun rises. I might drag myself out of bed them, hear the bad news and curse Swords when Miliband gets in by one vote

From the evidence of the QPR Not 606 poll, it has been scientifically proven that the election outcome will be:

    Others 31 Green 2 SNP 28 UKIP 11 Liberal Democrat 12 Labour 127 Conservative 421

Actually, politicians are not ALLOWED to be visibly campaigning on election day - you'll find they are all at home or in their constituencies. Where's Ed Balls? Where's Andy Burnham? All potential Labour leadership candidates shunning the spotlight, not wanting to be associated with abysmal failure, and not a mention of them in the news today...

I also have a feeling that Labour will do better than the polls show. I have had a small wager on them to win the most seats at 7/2.

I didn't mean today, I meant during the whole campaign. You are getting rather jumpy, not very confident?

A difficult one SB..............Trade Unions definately as the members they claim to represent are, like the general voters, way down the pecking order of their own priorities.

Public sector I'm not so sure as they tend to be party orientated rather than "protected" by all parties irrespective of left or right leaning in so far as they are worshipped by the left and despised by the right.

On this thread Chaz has confirmed all the presupposed biases I've ever had against the entire Conservative Party.

Is that a tad unfair? (On the Tories, not Chaz)

Thats a funky predictor. I notice we are stuck with George Galloway, but Farage doesn't get in.......

Very confident. If you meant through the campaign, then you clearly weren't taking much notice because the cabinet members were visibly campaigning, including Johnson, May, Osborne and the rest.

Just voted Labour in a very angry protest against Ben Gummer who's been lauding around his local hospital "success", after my other half's Dad was turfed out of his bed yesterday (they woke him up from his painkiller induced sleep to tell him to leave there and then) despite the apparent lack of diagnosis only to be rushed back in some 8 hours later in screaming pain (apparently it's a kidney stone that's brought on jaundice).

It was going to be a vote for Lib Dems on policy but it's been a usual Tory-Labour swing seat and I want that clown out of parliament.

    My vote is cast.

If TUSC can take Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner they look good for an overall majority.

Failing that I'll settle for Labour to kick out the Tories.

As much as it pisses me off, the only one of the leaders that is actually a leader is Cameron, if we end up with back stabbing sell-out Miliband, bullshitter Farage or limp lettuce Clegg we'll be right in the ****ter.
As to the NHS, 'New' Labour ****ed that up when they started selling it off to private US healthcare companies to 'look after' under Milburn, years before the Tories.
