Roglic, is, well was, maybe still is, a good shout for the TdF win, but he just had quite a bad crash as well so who knows now
Oh c'mon, we haven't had a French winner since the mid-eighties................Bernard Hinault...........the man with the catchy nickname........... Le blaireau..........or in English.....'The Badger'
I gave up watching TDF probably the most bent sport going.Even our own Badley ( gobshite) Wiggon (sic) was dodgy as fook..With his asthma medication travelling all over the place when he could have got it over the counter in France. South of England by car to Manchester airport across to Switzerland then hire a car and drive to France, yep that seems bent as a nine bob note.
Think the TdF may be very interesting this year as there has been so little racing to see form and if the Dauphine is anything to go by apart from Jumbo Visma most teams are a struggling to control races . Always think the best races to watch are those when no team(s) are strong enough to control .
Went for a run this evening, well more of a run-walk-run-walk-walk-walk ... made me remember how much I don't like running, I don't see any real benefit in it, i mean obviously there is, but to me it's just the best way of ruining your knees short of going back in time to Northern Ireland in the early 70s, and there's just no reward in it ... at least on a bike you get to enjoy being on a bike, and when it hurts when you put effort in or you're going up a hill that's kind of enjoyable and you also get the reward of going down the other side of the hill which is fun
I think my bike is cursed. I spent some time fixing up what I could on it after that accident I had and I road it into town this morning to meet a friend for coffee. Locked it to the bike racks nearby with two locks, come out of the coffeeshop about 90 minutes later and it's gone. You've just got to laugh haven't you
That's just **** mate. Can't stand thieving scumbags, deserve their hands chopping off #****s PS... queue the scouser comments btw
I decided to go to footy on ther bike today; only 4.5miles but its three first time I've done that route and far more hills than I realised, plus the wind being against me didn't help. Normally do a full hour at footy without any trouble (even when warmer like tonight) but I was completely shot with 5-10mins left. Was dreading the ride home but was actually quite enjoyable; definitely easier travelling that way
