mine was a crash too out with little fooker who was on a lead ,as required due to nearby playground , and she spotted a squirrel & whoosh she was off after it & before i could let go the chair hit the path edging causing chair to stop dead and me do a fair superman flying impersonation for about 1.78 sec before impact.
****. I'm very sorry to hear that man. The f*cking randomness of life and cycling eh. There's your answer to the 'nah, leave it and it'll probably get better' scenario at least. Sometimes these things take a bit to show their severity, I fractured my wrist when I was younger and it seemed ok for a couple of days till one day I tried to lean on it and it was agony. It's definitely best to take the time to heal up properly and look after yourself, although I know that will suck for various reasons. Hopefully you'll be good to go soon. You sounded like a castaway until I read further along
Superman to the rest of the world but I bet that was one of those 'slow motion moments' where 1.78 seconds feels like a day for you
tbh it felt just like it read wtf-****-aagh thats it you ****ing ****head dog back to the rescue centre for you !!!. PS should point out i still had hold of the lead
it came to me in a moment of inspiration as she disappeared into the distance chasing some Canada Geese that had flown overhead .
Just helped a cyclist who had collapsed opposite my place.Luckily there was a doctor passing by and she took care of him until ambulance came.He looked to me as if it was heat exhaustion but I'm no expert.Got his Dogma £££££ bike in garage for safe keeping and messaged his missus my contact details. Hope he recovers done my good deed going to have a few beers now.
Granddaughter of cyclist just picked up bike, they don't know what is wrong with him can't get answer from hospital, however he has suffered seizures and recently a stroke.
insane, no point spending that much on a bike even if you can, i know that's hardly the point, but there's no way anyone who isn't a top level pro cyclist benefits from that high end a bike, and there's no way those level of bikes are worth that much in comparison to 'cheaper' ones
Froome not so much of a surprise as he's still getting his form back following his very bad crash and he's also leaving Ineos Thomas is more of a surprise but they've obviously gone for the younger, new generation of riders with Bernal as No 1 which was always going to be the case, and Carapaz as back up They've said it's so that Froome can go after the Vuelta and Thomas can try for the Giro, and the team and both riders are saying the right things, or the ordered things to the media, but there's clearly much more to it than that Personally I hope another team can get their rider to win the yellow jersey this year
Well that's me off the bike for a while just been diagnosed with Labyrinthitis again.Fooking horrible illness last time lasted weeks but this time not quite as severe.
