As a Gooner with, perhaps understandable, dislike for your club, it's almost refreshing to see you guys ripping into a manager that has made your club stand for everything football shouldn't be about. You used to be quite a decent club, but after watching upwards of 100 fouls, ungiven, today it just reminds me of the Pulis era and its effect on your club. If I supported Stoke I'd rather be in the Championship playing football than in the Premier League playing, well, whatever you call that.

I know I probably sound patronising, I'm just saying I hope you guys get to a point where his style is a distant, long forgotten, memory.

 

Maybe if we brought in Adkins we would play football like Southampton instead of defensive/tackling play.

 

I wonder if we can have him arrested for throwing games, is it all a big betting conspiracy thingymebob!!!

 

I don't mind the directness, it's the defensive tactics that bother me. I've had enough of him.

YOU are quite right, that is why it HURTS so much. We used to play FOOTBALL and we're very good at it.
Do I want Pulis OUT. Sure I do he's gone as far as he can.. which going on how we performed five seasons back. Isn't anywhere near good enough. With a GOOD coach we would be fine. With Pulis, eventually we will be gone. I have a wish that he goes before I curl my toes. I would die with a smile on my face.

One Stoke fan mentioned concrete? Well with help our new patio will be finished this summer. Any ideas welcome. Yeah I'm that low right now and we only lost one nil to the Arsenal.

These are my thoughts. I prefer an up and at em style and dont mind percentage ground gaines through punting the ball into the channels, if we use the right players and support them from midfield and the fullbacks.

 

That's the key though supporting the strikers.

It`s all to do with money and very little to do with football. Pulis keeps the club in thePremiership and Mr Coates collects his millions from Sky. So everybody is happy except those of us who would like to a decent game of football now and then. As long as money is God Pulis and Coates will survive and the footballing public will continue to suffer

Nice to see another voice on here. You are right, it's all about money and my only problem is... What Pulis has NOT done with it. To think we've spent more than Arsenal is astounding... Does Mr Coates really (CARE) about the (type of football we're watching now)?? makes me think he cares less. YES we're finacially sound which is great. But what bugs me and and many Stokie's is what the Arsenal fan said. He's not the first and won't be the last. At home? a little more attack minded but it's still not good enough IMHO. Money is the root of all that is evil. I know it's killing the game and not just for clubs like Stoke City. Blame SKY for shafting the FANS who actually go to the games. Man City fans REFUSING to pay 40 odd quid they say NO.

 

I see we have planning permission for the expansion of the stadium...................now even more of us can watch the negative dross that Pulis serves up. Seriously though, it is very good news about the expansion, I just wish it was someone else managing stoke.

If I read it correctly, it's the (scoreboard) corner of the ground which is to be filled in? Does this mean MORE away allocation in future. And or does Mr Coates think we can attract more Stoke fans. I guess only time will tell.
