because Shawcross is not good enough and his distribution is terrible and he gives away a lot of penalties for holding etc, they are my main 3 reasons he isnt in the squad. Pulis has wrecked his chances by not letting him turn into a proper world class defender

Well said Ric, Our defence is crap that last few months, I know it's a team effort but IMO Ryan isn't England first team standard (he was getting there) blame Pulis for that.

the thing for me is that in international football a lot of moves are started from the back, yes Ryan is a good defender (not in the form he was 2 years ago IMO), but I cant see him getting the ball on the deck and giving it to Wilshire etc can you?, Pulis has booted any football that Shawcross had in him straight into touch (how apt)

Steven Taylor does seem a strange choice but, other than Ryan who else is there? As for Clueliss ruining player's careers, Nzonzi I really worry for him. Very good player who's looking more than a little hissed of the last few games can we blame him NO!
