Would be karma on the owners, they always looked like surviving and been comfortable midtable under big sam and even last season they just escaped relegation.
The same goes for Blackburn though, they made Arsenal look silly, and then a couple of weeks later their fans all want the manager sacked because they got beat by Man City. If they do sack Kean I hope they go down, he's one of the few managers whose interviews I can listen to without having to shout at the telly. EDIT: I've just realised having read down a bit that this has become an anti-Kean thread, and here I am saying I like him. Allardyce does my head in to be honest with his anti-football obsession. The fact he has inherited the best squad in the league at West Ham and is still forcing them to hoof it just annoys me. Kean tries to play proper football, and is one of the few honest managers in football who just says it like it is and doesn't clutch straws on referreeing decisions etc. The whole thing at Blackburn is a bit of a farce because they are trying to be a big club and link themselves with Ronaldinho or someone silly every transfer window when actually they have no better buying power than they did pre-Venky's. Also, the blackburn squad is full of Allardyce-style hoofers and hackers and generally not very good, if they finished bottom with the worst squad in the league, should that be considered failure for Kean?
Kean spent £11.5m on bringing in six of his own players ahead of this season and they already had some decent players at the club, so I don't think he can really claim he's just been lumbered with big Sam's signings now.
By no means it is solely Allardyce's squad, in fact I thought the signing of Scott Dann was a very good one, I had expected him to go somewhere better. My point is mainly that of the 20 teams in the PL someone has to go down, but nowadays the league is very strong and it's hard to find a bad side in there. If all 20 teams are good and have good managers, 3 good teams with good managers will still go down. Everyone seems to have accepted this is the reason Bolton are at the bottom, but I feel Blackburn are in a similar position.
I've nothing against Kean personally, but he's definitely lost the fans, so I think it's only a matter of time before he goes.
