  2. I can understand the sentiment - if not the example used.

Basically the players have shown that they dont really care about Arsenal - they have shown this through their performances. Their wage bills are so high that they are set for life - they dont need football. This is true for many of our players - and many from other teams.

I think the problem is pretty deep at Arsenal though - its not till their egos have been well and truly bruised do they actually put the effort in. I'll wager we will play really well against Sunderland at the weekend, then slip into another malaise.

Completely agree with 87. Wilshere revealed the sad state of modern footballers' lives in which they are totally disconnected from the fans. Nobody is saying that Jack doesn't care about the club but to have posted this on social networking less than 24 hours after that disgusting performance was very disrespectful to the fans. Each and everyone of that 'team' (Jack included) should be forfitting a week's wages to refund the fans that went to Milan; and certainly not advertising to the world that they are going on a spending spree.

Nonsense. Why should Wilshere have to forfeit his wages when he was not even involved because of an injury that he picked up last season when he gave everything for the Arsenal cause last season? Wilshere was in his private time and he can do what he wants as long as its legal and does not harm his career in any way.

A 19 year old in slightly misjudging something shocker. Of all the players to go after, how Wilshere's name even crops up after Wednesday night is beyond me.

Even OXO has been out of control on twitter today tweeting and laughing about Afobe visiting his place etc, sorry, these are not the actions a footballer should be doing a day after getting thrashed 4-0, our worst defeat in Europe and their all laughing and having a good time? it's a bloody disgrace, a major disconnect.

God forbid the players have lives or worse they try to connect with their friends.
    Really? Get a grip.
One 4-0 loss to Milan isn't going to anyone to shave off all their hair and go mourning in sackcloth

they should, that's the problem, their all laughing and enjoying themselves LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER OUR WORST EUROPEAN RESULT IN THE CLUBS HISTORY, so stop with your weak excuses. If you don't think that's a problem, that players are are all happy and enjoying themselves less than 24 hours after such a result, then you like them are a problem, and telling from your tag line, you obviously are part of the problem, lol, Arsenal still in the hunt for the cup and champions league, haha, delusions have no bounds if you actually think we have a chance in hell in Europe, let's say for the sake of argument that we make a miracle, you think we're still good enough to take on a team like Madrid and Barca who are much stronger than Milan? Oh and the fact you say we're in the hunt for 4th like that's something to be proud of shows how far Arsenal will sink with a fan base like you, thank God though that most Arsenal fans don't share this lower club mentality.

yes, sink with fans like you who have a very low club mentality, the fact you write we are in the hunt for 4th spot as a good thing is pathetic, it's thinking like that which has dragged us so low because many fans like you simply accept this sh!t, like ending 4th is something to be so happy and proud of. Yes, I slag the team off when they do ****, do you have blinkers on? Everyone who isn't deluded as you is slagging the team off for that pitiful performance we saw last night, by most reports even Wenger had a go at them, but to a deluded fan like you, even that rubbish performance and our worst hammering in Europe is STILL NOT enough to slag the team off. No, we still have to sing their praises and pretend it was actually something good, f-off please, i was at the stadium and EVERY FAN there was slagging the team, especially Walcott.

As the fans have been chanting, WE WANT OUR ARSENAL BACK, not an Arsenal losing 8-2, 4-0, struggling for 4th, 8 years with no league title, going on 7 with no trophies, going 7 years outside the top 2, but off course, to you that's not bad, I mean your so deluded you actually have the audacity to say we are still going for the UEFA Champions League, this shows the height of delusion with the blinker brigade, even WENGER has conceded we are all but out, and so have most of the players, but your so deluded you actually embarrassingly write we are still in the hunt for Europe, truly ladies and gents, if that's not the HEIGHT of delusion, then I really want to know what is? LOL you literally cannot make this up, we got hammered 4-0, and you still have the blinker brigade saying oh well we are still in the hunt for Europe. LOL, yeah, while your at it, we're also still in the hunt for the league too, right?

So are you a Gillingham fan again now? Decided to drop the faux 'Arsenal fan' front so that you can wum us with a clear conscience?

Can I not be both Pixie?

Here's a difficult question for you, should the fans who went to Milan be compensated for having to watch that dibacle?

I think you meant Debacle, but yes I would agree that I'd like to see the club or players make a gesture and refund Arsenal fans for their tickets in Milan.

Are you both? You mean Gills fan and a Wum or Gills fan and a Gooner?

Seeing as you were trying to wum us the other day by saying that Nasri was right to leave Arsenal because he's fighting for the Europey Cup and....... wait for it.......the FA youth cup, I believe it's the former.

If I've just made a point that you, the moderator, agrees with; then I could hardly be the former

If modern day top-flight footballers had any morale fibre, the entire Arsenal team would feel ashamed of their collective performance and offer a refund. There is absolutely nothing wrong with demanding a week's salary from each as they obviously have all not been at work.

Couple this injustice with JW's tweet and 87 is absolutely right to vocalise his dismay. The only social media activity that should be coming from these superstars is grovelling to their fans for sticking with them through all the thin.
