Can't blame him - every season is a chance at winning something and earn more than pretty much anywhere else.

Rumours that Iraola set to join Palace. On what planet is that job more attractive than Bournemouth? At least Bournemouth is in a nice part of the world. Palace is in a ****ing ****hole. Just seems an odd move to me.

Dunno, I doubt he's going to live in Croydon lol and there's lots of nice areas in Surrey and Sussex not far away.

Probably easier to fly home too.

I see it as a sideways move if it were to happen, that could be a big if.

Palace are bigger than Bournemouth no doubt, in terms of current standing in the PL they’re pretty even though. Both regularly sell their best players but reinvest in the playing squad. Did get the impression he was leaving to make a significant step up in his career though, and Palace aren’t that.

Dont get the dislike for Bournemouth. Iraola has shaped them into team that is probably as good as Poch's or Lawrie's Southampton. I just think they have been a breath of fresh air and that the negative comments stem from the fact that thr current Bournemouth team is far better than what Saints fans are used to.

This is a marvellous moment for Bournemouth fans. They have rarely enjoyed success and thry fully deserve this season. Akways happy tp see them win....except against Saints.

Where are you seeing this dislike exactly? The only person that I know of that openly dislikes them on here is TIOON7 and that's because he lives there! Calling them a small club isn't dislike, it's just a fact. They continue to do amazingly well, punching well above their weight despite this and despite continually selling their best players too. Palace are a bigger club, but moving there from Bournemouth isn't currently much of a step up and that is a big compliment to Bournemouth.

Moving to Palace from Bournemouth is funny as. I thought he would go to one of the big guys, but how do the Bompey fans feel about losing their most successful manager league position wise to Palace. We lost Poch to Spurs, Koeman to Everton, how would we have felt about Palace…

I have a problem with a LOT of their fans .
Worked in Bournemouth for a few years .
No problems at all Until they got promoted , then , all
of a sudden were scummers.
No issues with the fans at work who had always been intelligent football loving fans , banter oneupmanship , bragging rights , hell yes .
But they were never nasty .

The vile spiteful bitter ones ( and there’s plenty of them ) , can fing do one .
