That is a game I would like to watch, because with Liverpool pressing, Wolves could cause a lot of damage on the break.
Huddersfield are 200/1 to win 2-0, whereas Liverpool are only 125/1 to win 9-0!
L'pool will win tonight, but from talking to fans today, I'm willing to lay it on the line and say;
'The chance has passed, they are set to be the highest point scoring second place that will ever be.'
I can see it in their eyes.
City coming away from Spurs & Utd with 6 pts and no goals conceded raps this up for me, and them I'd suggest.
I'm fully aware that there's still points to play for, but the only points there to be dropped are on the Reds side. Can see the Foxes causing trouble, but Wolves with the death blow. (all made irrelevant by Cities clean sweep)
Were I Klopp, I'd rotate tonight & go toe to toe with Barca. That game, I can see them getting some joy. But the league, no, the chance has gone.

Don't see Klopp taking any risk tonight...fans will accept not winning the title, but not because the manager played a weakened side.
No risks, just rotation. We are talking the Lallana's, Fabinho, the Shaq......they have a good squad. Allow them some trust against the second worse epl team there has even been. Or risk a tired Mane, or a knock to Salah's diving leg in next weeks big game.
Like you pointed out the other day with Utd being 6/1 at home. The top two are streets ahead of everyone else.
Fair point, think that was record for them at home (and this must be the or close to the all time as well?) but it does highlight how it's an uncompetitive league for anyone outside of the top 6.

What has made the league this year so exciting, is the mini groups. Top two. Top six. Fight for seventh. 17th & 18th battle.
To be fair, there was an element of good fortune about Shane’s goal, but that was just very bad defending.
