Agreed, I actually think Albion sacking Pulis would be a mistake, but you probably know the mood up there better than me.

Yeah, I was chatting with my friend today, and Tony and his team have pretty much accepted that the chop is around the corner. Second transfer window running that the board promised the world, but largely didn't deliver, so that has always been festering away in the background for Tony too. A month ago, a parting of the ways was looking likely come the end of the season. But now it could be fairly imminent. Although they aren't reading anything into the Chinese owner being there today - they're putting that down to the opposition being Chelsea.

She doesn't know whether the sudden availability of the Wales job changes anything. She suspects Tony would be interested, but isn't sure. Plus, if he couldn't take his team with him (who aren't Welsh), then it's almost certainly a non-starter.

(There's also the availability of the USA job, which would be somewhat perfect given the Pulis family's want to move to USA. But one would think that the USA won't be giving Tony a call anytime soon)

I was thinking about the Wales connection, but surely they could probably only pay around 15% of what he earns now?

Some of his comments recently seem very odd though, seems to me like he's waiting for the pay off now.

Indeed. As I say, he's accepted his likely fate, by all accounts. And given that he knows the WBA fans have never taken to him, and the owners haven't delivered, I don't think he's in the least bit bothered about leaving.

But if they stick with him, I'm sure they'll still be a PL side come June.

I agree here to, which is why I think they might regret sacking him. Chelsea and Spurs next I think though?

Why isn't huddersfield in there? They much higher odds? That West Ham one looks tasty although they have some brilliant players, they don't have any decent defensive ones and Moyes is a disaster

Huddersfield are? 3rd favourites...

Indeed the January transfer window will be big for a lot of teams, February the odds will defiantly be different.

They change week by week. We were 16s after the Burnley game... and will probably be around 8s if we lose next week... if we beat Everton we'll probably go back out to 14s.

Finally something good this weekend. Can't recall ever wanting to see Watford thrash someone before.

Shouldn't go unnoticed that Hughes scored the goal, and both Gray and Richarlison were both involved in it. All players Watford signed in the summer; a club who actually bothered to improve their squad.

They also acted quickly to replace the outgoing manager and thus securing their number one target...
