A man has been fined after he was caught speeding at 110mph on the motorway and told police he had been to London to buy bread.

The man was stopped by officers at about 22:40 BST on Sunday travelling to Nottingham northbound on the M1.

They said he had been in the car with his two young children and claimed bread in London was £1 cheaper.

Leicestershire Police said the man was handed two fixed penalty notices and reported to court for the speeding.

If this isn't Jack Grealish or Kyle Walker I'm going to be really sad! <laugh>

The Watford and Udinese owner says it's very likely that the league season will be cancelled...

As every day goes by, cancellation becomes more and more likely. I'm not really sure that can be argued against.

But it doesn't mean it will happen. We're still relatively early on, with numerous options on the table.

The clubs will resist for as long as possible because of the tv money.
They can’t afford to lose it.

There's a documentary that's been released about Sadio Mane: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52213398

I get the strangest feeling that his time at Saints might get passed over.
His 2 hat tricks with us can’t be ignored surely? One against his current employer, and the one against Villa the fastest in Premier League history, which VAR means will never be beaten.

Terrible day :(

I've just been reading an obituary about Bonetti in the Guardian. He played most of his football in the top division for Chelsea, won quite a few honours and played for England. After he retired, he moved to the Isle of Mull where he worked as a postman. Football's moved on a bit since then.
