Love Morgan, but he's gone now. Paid too much, perhaps even too much pride for a return. Hope he finds a new home somewhere, top lad.
He needs to find the right team that brings out the best in him. I really thought it would work out for him at United....and then I thought Mourinho might give him a new chance. I was wrong in both cases. He would never come back here as a matter of pride....which is a shame for him as we are one of the teams that would really suit him. Spurs :emoticon-0119-puke: would be his best bet.

What makes you assume that?

Do we actually want him?

Most people don't want to go back to previous jobs with their tails between their legs. Be different if we'd moved on markedly, so it seemed like a step up....but we haven't reached that stage yet. No idea if Saints would want him back....probably too expensive for us.

I wouldn't consider him returning as a tail-between-the-legs situation. It would be good for him to get his career back on track. I am continually surprised by how many players do go back to clubs where they have had prior success, and not necessarily when they are getting past it either.

As for whether we'd want him, that would be on the basis of his value. Is he better right now than Pierre Hojbjerg? Already, not by a significant amount. Hence, not good value. However, I would never say never. Except for just then. ;)

Again, big love for the guy, but when you are paid £100K a week, being offered a drop isn't very exciting, so I don't expect him to be motivated for a move, or us to even suggest it. Just keep the good memories instead......

I dont like to write negative player posts but Jordy Clasie has been a huge anti-climax for me. He was supposed to be our Morgan replacement but he's turned out to be nothing much at all really. I'd have been fine with him being moved on in the Summer and in January if the ginger made a decent offer (and its a dutch player so he will be thinking of it) I'd be glad to see the back of him. I would then be able to see the good memories of Morgan a bit clearer

Really, I think Jordy has looked better under CP. One of those players who does things, keeps it simple, and people don't notice or praise. I like him, good squad player.

Without a doubt. And their next four PL games are WBA, Boro, Palace and Burnley. They could run riot.

(Over that same four game period, you also have Arsenal v Spurs, Man Utd v Arsenal, Chelsea v Everton, and Chelsea v Spurs)

and who knows; maybe there will be so much points grabbing between the "top 6" it'll open a window for a "new" Leicester this year! <laugh> Yes please!
