Soft penalty for Arse, if the ref was positioned on t'other side he might've thought differently. Glad he's booked Sokratis after someone apparently shot him from the stand though.
how about a transfer rule change, whereby a player must play 2 seasons in the premiership before he can be transferred to another premiership club? I'd hate to see Wolves picked clean by Man U over the summer
Arsenal fans should be happy about qualifying for the Europa instead of the CL. They have one foot in the final of this year's competition ffs, whereas they have no chance of doing anything at CL level with their current squad. Know your limits, Gooners.
If all goes to plan (best of the rest) Wolves are likely to be our main competitor for the next couple of seasons. Would be good to see them picked apart really - tbf with their money they could probably just replace with other £30m signings but ah well
So it’s looking like there will be 3 separate leagues in the PL for at least a couple of seasons, assuming Pep and Klopp stay put for that long. City and Liverpool are streets ahead of the Next 4, as we will have to call them, and then it’s pretty much all up for grabs for the bottom 14.
Tonight represents the last tough obstacle for City. Leicester do have quite a good record against City as well.
Can seeing L'ster raining on the parade and getting a draw. Then Wolves doing the same and City winning it!
Leicester defending in numbers and relying on catching City on the break. Looks like space is available behind the Leicester right back but Bernardo Silva being double marked is reducing his impact. Beginning to think that City’s best chance might come from stealing the ball back as Leicester are breaking forward, leaving space to exploit, but I have a horrible feeling that Leicester will nick a goal.
Sane could get a lot of joy there, if they bring him on early enough. Sterling keeps on coming back inside (or is already starting inside) such that he isn't taking advantage enough. And as I type, Sane strips off.
