Palace look good today. Glad zaha was injured when we played them, otherwise we would have 3 less points

Clear dive from Zaha there. Yes, there was contact, but not enough to make him fly through the air like that.

Shocking. although he’s been kicked all over the park today, so he probably thought, “Feck it, I’m going down.”

5 draws (including 4 against each other) and 4 defeats for the bottom 9 this week. Last season repeating itself.

How isn't that a second yellow for Smalling?

Watching MOTD2 and I still feel Zaha's penalty win was a dive.

Xhaka says in the interview afterwards that he thinks it's a penalty because there was contact .
And that may be the case.

But when you watch the replay Zaha plants both feet just before the contact and launches himself - he had no intention of retaining the ball if/when he gets past Xhaka.

For me that's a dive. It's a pre-determined choice of trying to win a penalty by going down.

It's no different to Willian in Chelsea's game, other than the Burnley defender spotted what was coming and made him look silly.

Not my first choice, but if I was being honest I wouldn't have minded us winning on Saturday with a suspect penalty. I have no pride left. :(

Talking about penalties, the United one yesterday, in the first place, we would not have been given it, our player would have been booked for diving, had the Pen been saved, there is no way the ball would have bounced back where it could have been put back in the net. It takes a bit of luck some times, all of ours recently has been bad. One day perhaps our luck will change, they say it evens out in the long run, we are in defecit on that score.

We have had virtually no luck.....other than bad. We are not playing well, so I don't expect miracles....but with all our shots, I would expect the odd one or two (at a bare minimum) to trickle in or go in off a rebound against a Saints or opposition player. I think over half the EPL are better than us and the rest are similar and play defensively (as we do) and we aren't good enough to break them down....however, I would still hope for a bit of the Universe's randomness to go in our favour. Perhaps the 2 goal-less draws indicate that things are turning in our favour....yes, let's go with that.

I agree that our luck is in deficit, but when it does go our way, as did the deflection that put Elyounoussi clear, our players have to start making better decisions.
I think everyone was screaming at him to roll the ball across to the unmarked Austin, for a tap in, and as I commented in the Match Thread, this was a game defining moment.

Same criteria for Lemina, for most that would have gone in, for us it didn't. Long and his late miss, had he been on longer, he may have been sharper, but his track record is woeful, it isn't always down to luck.

What a shambles the Wembley pitch is - I`m getting a sore head trying to figure out which lines are which.

I know Pogba scored on the rebound in this case, but I think it's a good idea to be on target if you are going to make yourself look daft taking a penalty.

Wow, Bmouth have started well. Forget just going 1-0 up, they could be 3-0 up by now.

Makes me remember the days when we could run, pass, cross, shoot.

Although granted, they are up against a back line which includes Smalling and Young. If you have the ability and willingness, you're always going to get some joy against those guys.

Good for Bournemouth. I think our point against them was underestimated.

Shame I think Cardiff will win today :(.

Either Leicester's hearts won't be in it and lose 2 or 3-0 or they will determined to put on a good show in memory if their owner and win easily. One thing it won't be is a draw (this is where is finishes 0-0!)
