What did we do to annoy Giroud? He comes out of hibernation to destroy us, then goes missing again. I'm starting to take it personally.
Just been watching that again. If there’s any justice in this world, Andre Ayew will face retrospective action for that and might be suspended for the rest of the season.
I can't believe that Moss didn't see it (but equally, I couldn't believe that he didn't punish it!), in which case no retrospective ban can of course follow. It's similar to Lascelles the other week. It shouldn't matter than a game is almost over. These decisions can have huge impacts over the following matches. PS. It was Jordan, not Andre.
Sorry, they said Andre on MOTD. I agree that Moss must have seen it, but the Disciplinary Panel must have special dispensation for his games, surely?
On one shoulder I've got a voice telling me to enjoy this. The side I most dislike, the side who I would love to see get relegated, are getting smashed at home (this should be more than four). On the other shoulder, I'm being reminded that this time in two weeks, it's our turn...
What I am trying to keep under control is the mad part of my brain that thinks one win against a middling side means that we are capable of suddenly beating Everton and Swansea. We are capable of it, but we have been capable of beating loads of teams without actually doing it.....yet, suddenly it is nailed on in the optimistic part of my brain which is still partying like it's 1999.
