Puel has Leicester on the counter again. I know some don't like the long vertical passes, but that's a lovely, simple goal.

Puel? Thought that’s how Leicester have played for quite a while?

They were a bit more lethargic early in the year. Whether that is down to Puel or just their key players getting their acts together, I don't know.

Nothing wrong with a long, vertical pass (as this was).... it is the aimless lump forward I object to.

Back in the 70s/80s Liverpool were the footballing standard bearer, but they still played more long passes than most other teams. It is what is truly a pass or a hopeful punt that makes the difference.

Great pass from Leicester tonight - happened to be a long, high one

Some good results for the bottom 3 this week. I wish I thought that we were better than most of the bottom half. I see Swansea as the only team unlikely to avoid the drop. I seriously think we should be hitting up Rafa Benitez to jump ship .
