And here I raise my hat again to poch.

Ok, he was forced into a goalkeeping change but he could have bought in an older experienced keeper as additional cover.

Instead he takes Gaza, and not afraid to play him when necessary. He has really improved some of the younger players since he has been there.

Never easy with the pressure on him. Well done MP.

Slight surprise, but then I always thought that Gaza had enough as a keeper to make it. I'm quite pleased for him.

Niasse with his fourth PL goal of the season, equaling Rooney for the team lead. They're the only two Everton players to score in the league.
 
Everton takes the lead in the 91st minute...and now they have another 11 minutes of stoppage time to defend it. If they hang on, they'll be a mere two points behind us.

The table doesn't make good reading for us considering our next 10 games, we could be well in the **** come the back end of the festive period.
 
Yep - we are in serious danger of being the team it's fashionable for pundits to say 'no-one thinks they'll be in trouble but I have a sneaking suspicion they will be.', even though all the others are saying it too.



Except Matt, because he knows best :)

And Savage, because he knows least :D

We have managed to beat 3 teams in 12 games, all of whom are/were in relegation form. We haven't been able to beat Hudds, swansea, brighton, burnley, watford, stoke and newcastle. All of which were winnable games if we had been playing well. Only the most optimistic/drunk supporter would expect us to win anything against the top 6 on current evidence. So I fully expect us to be in relegation positions in the next 2 months.

You are correct....... on paper.

Football isn't played on paper or in a form book. It never has been and it continues to throw up the unexpected.
