The Daily Telegraph reporting that Leicester City are going to speak to Claude Puel about the vacant manager’s position.

From the outside looking in, life as a Saints fan was fairly boring last season?

Is his natural style to play defensively or were you just lacking a top striker like Vardy?

You're certainly a better defensive unit than us.

Nah we had Shane Long, the upgraded version of Vardy.

Puel was fine, had a lot of issues to deal with (extra Europa games, extra games from getting to the League Cup final, injuries at bad times). The style was negative at times but overall I'd say he did a good job and was harshly treated.

In my opinion, our fans didn't give him a chance from day 1.

Though he didn't help himself come April/May time when he also lost the players and failed to score at home in 2 months because we just turned more defensive (after an excellent scoring run)

I'm sensing a slight lack of confidence in our supporters. Who would we be confident of beating? (apart from Everton and Arsenal)

I fancy us much more at Brighton than I do tomorrow.

In a weird way, West Brom at home is arguably one of the hardest games we can have right now.

Feels like Bilic has been one bad result away from the sack for about 18 months now. So probably bad luck to Palace next up, because such history suggests Bilic will again get that result to save him for a bit longer.

I predict a win at Wembley in the cup and a tonking from Palace <laugh>
