Palace were never going to go down once they appointed Sam.

Sad, I know, but you can't pass the chance to wipe the arrogant smirk off Wenger's face. We all know he's clinging on there beyond logic, trying to explaining why he should stay for yet another season. Time to go. In fact, no. Stay forever, and ruin the club. ;)

Have the Arsenal players simply downed their tools? In theory they should be wiping the floor with Palace. It must be fake news that Wenger is set to sign a 2 year extension to his contract.

As much as I like Bournemouth they are not out of the woods yet. With this win, Palace go into the top half of the table.

Decent away form Arsenal are on:

    0-3 Palace (so far)
    1-3 WBA
    1-3 Liverpool
    1-3 Chelsea
    4-0 Swansea
    3-3 Bmouth
    1-2 Man City
    1-2 Everton

There's also a 1-5 to Bayern in there too.

    Palace fans olay-ing. Such a laugh <laugh>

Saying on the radio that he won't quit even though he should. I totally agree with that. I don't think he has the kind of pride to know when it is the honorable thing to quit.

Interesting whether Klopp will welcome Sakho back in the summer. If not, and if we really do want him, then I'd suggest we'll need to pay a bit more for him than would have been the case in January. Or anyone who might want him.

    Palace safe.

This was the same Palace team that was eventually outplayed by us. And they've outplayed Arsenal.

Pool would surely have faired better with him in their side this season.

If Man City stumbles, we could have a situation where no PL club has made CL in three consecutive years. Haven't looked it up, but that might well be a first.

    Parity! (Kinda)

It's quite a change. From 1995-96 through 2014-15, as best I can tell there wasn't a single instance where two or more teams in the top four dropped out of the top four in the following season. Last season, two did; this season, at least two and possibly three will. The top of the deck is being reshuffled far more than at any point in the CL era.

Chelsea last season has been the most significant drop in recent times. Be interesting to see the repercussions at Arsenal without Champions league football. Spurs are probably causing the imbalance if we look deeper.
