Their fans are mental. Even worse than most. Seem to hound managers out for nothing. Cooper may have been boring, but being out of the relegation zone with that squad was a big achievement
Didn't they want Maresca out at one point last season as well, despite being top and like a billion points clear? Odd fanbase
Very brief period of astounding success has completely warped their reality. Probably would happen to most sets of fans tbf. You'd think they'd realise that was very much an outlier and not the new normal or where they 'deserve' to be now, but I guess not. Every newly promoted side has to accept being boring if it gets you enough results to stay up, and worry about the style of play later.
He could have so easily lost all 9 of his PL games in charge of Leicester. The four points he got in his opening two games were very lucky. Against Brighton they were 2-0 down late on. And the West Ham win was a freak - Wham had a billion chances, yet Leicester scored with basically their only three attacks. Odd decision to sack Cooper. Even odder decision to gamble on RVN as his replacement. As far a I call tell, they based it on him beating them twice whilst he was Utd's caretaker manager.
Wonder if that is it for Postecoglou. They've really slipped right down the table. Their form is just as bad as ours. And Man Utd lost again too, their form is only better because they played us.
FairPlay to the Ipswich fans …….getting humped 6-0 with over 10 mins to play ……and they haven’t acted like there is a fire drill.
