The last couple of summers have made me totally ambivalent to our ex players. I missed Morgan the most, but he's gone to a footballing graveyard. And Fonte fist pumping that painful goal on Saturday, well I should probably thank him for the closure. Feels weird not feeling anything, but I'd rather that than miss them.

I mentioned it back in November, but is there any reason we can't just have a 'transfer rumour' thread always open instead of individual windows?

Seems to make sense to me.

We normally have the Summer thread open from about the end of April, which is fine, especially as the window doesn't open until 1st June. In the meantime any made-up fantasies or genuine rumours can go in this thread or Saints Stuff.

A small digression...what dictionary does this forum used. On several occasions I have had words underlined in red as if they don't exist. I welcome word checking where I have slipped up, but what is going on. Is there a dictionary out there deleting perfectly good words at random.

Uses the ReedusPuelus dictionary. Try typing in "lack of ambition" and it automatically changes it to "opportunities of possibilities"

It changes the word "concerned" to "meltdown", the definition says it is hate speech and only happy clapping is allowed.

Maybe we should go on tintin-GMI.com instead. "uppers" at the ready.

I mentioned this a while back but didn't get any reply. It wants me to write everything in American English which I refuse to do. Zeds all over the place. No idea if it can be changed I couldn't find anything.

It's not the forum. It's your browser. Install a GB English dictionary on it. Problem solved.
