That, but IFAB will also add to the laws around VAR that if a clear factual error has been made (i.e. offside or ball in or out of play) that play can be stopped to correct that error. They won't want this happening ever again.
No but how long does a game go on for before you stop and riots start in the crowd? It shouldn't get that far again
I’d like to understand if that were Luton requesting the audio, if it would actually be released. I think Liverpool, whilst they have been wronged in this instance, have a barefaced cheek exposing this - should have been done privately behind closed doors with them and other powers that be. Should not be played out in the public domain, purely going for the sympathy, look at poor Liverpool vibe. Makes me dislike them even further.
And a goal wrongly awarded or otherwise is actually no more game changing than say, an incorrect red card incorrectly dealt or not so where does it stop. Can't draw a line and say everything this side can mean the game be stopped and taken back to a past event because we know how good the useless bastards are at looking at a line!
I haven't listened to this one, but what stood out about the previous VAR recording was that it sounded utterly chaotic.
Absolutely correct. Instead of saying “check complete” to agree with the on field decision they have to clarify the decision being made by VAR just in case another VAR operative is so switched off that he doesn’t know what the on field decision was.
Lol Classic Klopp. **** off. Already got far more attention and air time than pretty much any other club would over this. For most it would be brushed under the carpet and forgotten about by the next day.
Because IFAB are a bunch of morons. It's out of Howard Webb's hands - he wants it implemented but currently banned by IFAB (football's law makers).
But… there doesn’t even seem to be a conversation in football. That is madness. Check complete is not a convo!
Bloody hell just seen the injury to Basham of Sheff Utd. F*cking hell. Poor guy. Don't watch if squeamish.
Yeah it’s so ****ing bad. I opened a screenshot before knowing what I was opening. Literally looks like his foot is about to come off. Awful. Hope he recovers but I mean.. it looked like a career ender to me (with zero medical experience)
Such a bad result, and performance, by Bmouth. They were lucky to only concede three. Tasty game for them straight after the international, with Gary O'Neill returning back there with Wolves. I presume he'll be desperate to win that.
